At Eastern Fleurieu School we believe that the relationship between the learner and the teacher, and the partnership with parents and caregivers are central to the success of teaching and learning programmes. These relationships need to be protected and actively fostered. Occasionally a problem may occur which needs to be addressed effectively in order for the relationships to be maintained. If a problem arises at school for your child: - - Approach, phone or contact the classroom, home group or subject teacher involved as soon as possible to let them know about the issue. It may be necessary to make a time after school if the issue is involved or complicated. Follow up with the teacher involved is the most effective means of handling difficulties at school.
- Allow the teacher or staff member the time to follow up on the issue.
- If the issue remains unresolved you may make a time with Heads of Campus/Campus Coordinators at the R-6 campuses or the relevant Year Level manager at the 7-12 campus to further discuss the issue or Heads of Campus.
- Parents who are still unhappy with the outcomes may make an appointment to discuss the issue with the Principal.
