2008 General Information The cost of providing the best possible educational service to all students of the Eastern Fleurieu School is significant. The Governing Council has identified priority areas for development such as high literacy standards, up to date teaching and learning, and information and communication technology. While these priorities are a focus, maintaining all areas of the curriculum and equipment and services must also be achieved. It is essential that the Materials & Services Charge is paid by all families to ensure that the School has the capacity to address both the priority areas as well as maintenance of programs and services. | |
Subject Levies Subject levies for Secondary students will be invoiced when all choices made have been confirmed. A basic stationery kit is supplied to students in R-7. Primary students will also have access to classroom sets of stationery that are taxable items and remain the property of the school. Secondary students will be issued with an information sheet outlining recommended stationery. Although the school will not be making these items available for sale, the Strathalbyn Newsagency offer a special ‘Back to School’ discount for all Eastern Fleurieu School students of 20% on all items listed. Student ID will be required to receive this discount. School Card Eligibility must be proven every year and no assumption can be made by the School that this continues from one year to the next. We strongly urge all parents to investigate their eligibility to this excellent scheme designed to support families. Payment Our financial software is now linked across all sites of the school. This now allows payment to be made at any Campus. Bankcard, MasterCard and Visa credit facilities are available at most sites while EFTPOS facilities are available at the Strathalbyn sites. Cheques should be made payable to 'Eastern Fleurieu School’. Payments by instalment are available by completing the Instalment Schedule and returning this to your Campus Finance Officer. Receipts will be available for collection or posted on request. Online Payment Online payments for Material and Services Charges and any other school levy or charge you may have been invoiced for is available through Bizgate. This application has been developed to provide parents/caregivers with the option to make school payments over the internet, using their credit card (Visa and Mastercard only at this point in time). It is similar to the BPay facility that many businesses use and with which users of internet banking may be familiar. You can either click the link in the menu on the left of this web page or click here to access the Bizgate payment page.
