The Middle Campus (Years 7-9) and Senior Campus (Years 10-12) are co-located on the Strathalbyn 7-12 site on Callington Road in the pretty, historical township of Strathalbyn. The campuses share the facilities at the site and most teachers teach across both campuses with a major focus in either middle or senior schooling. The two Heads of Campus share the responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site. The 7-12 site caters for the educational needs of approximately 500 students. The size of the site allows for a friendly, small school feel whist being large enough to be able to offer an extensive range of curriculum choices from Year 7 through to Year 12.

The Strathalbyn Middle Campus has nine Year 7/8 vertically grouped classes and four Year 9 classes.
Its vision is to provide opportunities for all students to fulfil their educational potential, to develop the skills necessary to be active participants in society and to foster the notion of life-long learning in a safe and supportive learning environment.
Structures and methodologies at the Middle Campus meet the needs of young adolescents and support middle-schooling philosophies. Relationships between teachers and students are paramount and a learning environment exists that supports the learning of all students. Students are taught skills and processes that will be transferable throughout their lives. Students are taught thinking and learning skills along with traditional curriculum knowledge and processes. Skills and topics are integrated so that student can understand what they are learning and how that learning can be applied in different situations.
Successes are celebrated and an incentive scheme operates to help reinforce the culture of success that is fostered within the campus. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning and their actions. |

The Strathalbyn 10 - 12 Campus has an enrolment of approximately 200 students. Students are able to study full time courses leading to University, TAFE or employment. Students are also able to study vocational courses which gain credit toward TAFE courses. Students can undertake part-time courses of study that can be available as Traineeships.
Students are encouraged to be flexible in their course selection. Many students in Year 10 begin studying South Australian Certificate of Education courses. This means that time can be free in following years for taking extra subjects, engage in part-time work or concentrate on study. There is a strong emphasis on responsible and independent learning skills from students. A number of students have special requirements in terms of their study pattern. Courses are tailored to suit these students.
Our aim is to meet the needs of all students.
