All members of the Eastern Fleurieu School community, regardless of race, sex, age, physical ability or social background, should be respected as individuals and have the right to make full use of educational opportunities. The creation of a success orientated learning environment in which responsible behaviour is encouraged and readily acknowledged is a key component in successful student behaviour management.
We believe:
w that all students have a right to learn and a responsibility to allow others to learn; w that teachers have a right to teach and a responsibility to provide educational opportunity for all students; w that the school environment should be safe, caring and orderly.
The Eastern Fleurieu School’s Behaviour Management Policy provides a logical sequence of consequences for inappropriate behaviour that encourages students to develop a sense of accountability and personal responsibility for their own behaviour.
